TMS Reviews: Get your BeautyFix!

I've tried just about every "beauty"/misc. subscription box out there--Birchbox, Julep Maven, Sample Society, MyGlam, Beauty Army, Beauty Testtube, Ecoemi, Conscious box, Little Black Box, Green Grab Bag, Cravebox....the list goes on and on!

With the exception of Julep Maven, Eco-emi and Cravebox, I've cancelled the rest. I'd rather spend the money on a bottle of polish instead.

That is, until I discovered BeautyFix! (Website, Facebook)

BeautyFix by Dermstore is a Quarterly subscription (you get it 4 times a year). And while the price is $49.99, you get to choose 8 products (plus a makeup bag). This is my 2nd purchase and I definitely get my money's worth! If you have yet to join, search around for coupons for new members.

After filling out a profile, you are given 57 products to choose from!!! Some products have a drop down menu to choose a different scent or color (more choices! Woot!). They also include the size you are given--as you can see from the picture, I have quite a few full-size products.

Here's what I wound up getting (plus actual price of product I received, price from Dermstore)

BeautyFix cosmetic bag (choice of 2)--free with membership (cost not listed)

Jonathan Finish Control High Shine Flexible Hairspray--Full Size (10 oz) Normally $30 on sale for $25

Nailtiques Nail Moisturizer and Formula Kit (Full Size Set)--$33.27 (Most expensive of my choices)

The 4 items from the Nailtique kit--Nail moisturizer, Cuticle & Skin Gel, Nail Protein, Oil Therapy

Perricone MD Nutritive Cleanser--Full/Travel size $13

Juice Beauty Oil Free Moisturizer--full/travel size $14

Philip B Chocolate Milk Body Creme & Chocolate Milk Body Wash & Bubble Bath--Travel Sizes: Creme $10, Body Wash $8

Degree Body Mist in Classic Romance: Full size $3 (the cheapest item I chose)

Traditions by Nick Chavez Horssetail Root Lifting Spray: Full Size--$22

Grand Total: $128.27
Less membership cost: $78.27

Needless to say, I was THRILLED with all my choices and for the amazing deal I got! I absolutely LOVE the nail kit, it may seem small but there is plenty. I have needed a new hairspray for some time, and I adore anything chocolate (Philip B smells AMAZING). I have wanted to try Juice Beauty (and needed a new oil-free moisturizer). My daughter may fight with me for the Degree Body spray LOL. The rest have great reputations.

I am happy, happy, happy with this subscription, and the numerous choices, unlike other sub boxes (Beauty Army, for example, I would eliminate what I knew I would never use and choose from the small small samples available). I really did like the Beauty Test Tube--it also has a great value--but I like choosing. And knowing up front whether you're getting a sample or full-size product makes it that much better.

I wish it were more often but at the price, it would get too expensive too quickly so quarterly works well and gives you time to actually use the products. Some of these are a bit too pricey for the size but would make a nice treat now and then. The nail kit has won my heart since I deal with persnickety nails.

Have you tried BeautyFix? What do you subscribe to? What have you cancelled?
