Christmas LOTD: In the Pink!

"At some time in our life we must learn to face crushing disappointment"--My 16yo daughter JudoQueen

Ok, so today's look was not a crushing disappointment but it wasn't what I had planned. I'm stil recovering from surgery, and it appears to have made my chronics rear their ugly heads. I slept the better part of the week and most of Christmas Eve.

My hair did not get dyed as I had planned. Afraid to leave it bleached with purple swatches, I polled the family. They all thought it looked fine. Still unsure, I knew it was do my hair, or let my husband wrap the gifts. Family won out.

I'd planned on doing something dazzling for my nails. While I think they look pretty, it's not what I planned. And they haven't been photographed...Yet? We'll see.

Sometimes, good enough really IS good enough.

Someday Choreboy and I will get out of the house sans children again... we had good intentions to do so before Christmas, but it didn't quite happen :/ Oh well, in time.

  5. Thank you SO much Ayantika! Following back ;)

My husband is also in IT, and my daughter wants to travel to India (well, so do I)--she's going into neuroscience and knows that India has some incredible centers there for it. So she's planning on learning Hindi (her friends at school advised her this would probably be the best overall).

SO glad you stopped by and thank you for the lovely words :))

  10. Thanks sweetheart! I have been lemming that bracelet ever since the promo pictures came out in the fall--but I never found it on the JC website--so I had to hit ebay LOL. It's sooo cute and the lipbalm is awesome, a nice toasty marshmallow scent!

I normally wear another bracelet every xmas but I lost one charm and I need to lengthen it. I'll probably wind up wearing both next year LOL

    xo
